Wild guess: happened just after a snow load event?
Except that I know Sequim is right on the Sound, and you don’t *get* big snow events, right?

These buildings can withstand 100mph straight line winds, and I’ll have to look at my engineered documents to see what the snow loading is but I want to say it’s high. You would think with a microburst the trees behind might be in a little worse shape.
