Ha, I didn't even consider shipping. Yeah, a $3,000 bench + shipping kinda ruins the deal for me.

That was my thinking too. If I want to work on a greasy old motor, I certainly would not want to put it on a really nice looking workbench.

Beautiful workbenches but I couldn't spend the coin only to ruin by using it. I'd be far better off using what I have.

The second I spilled oil or got a stain on a workbench like that and I would immediately start to cry.

Any of those would be the 2nd largest furniture purchase i've ever made. Then once my wife saw the price, I'd probably lose half of everything.

Trophy benches. He doesn't have to sell them by the thousands. Any real good woodworker will build his own.

A bit like solid gold horse shoes. If you use them for what they're for you'll ruin their beauty.
If you don't use them at all they serve no purpose.

Looks more like a bench for some guy to tie thousands of flies on. Some place that will never see a dropped wood chisel or a screw head on a assembly pushed into the bench top.
