Amerlock 2 400 vs rustoleum rocksolid

Trying to decide, have 1500 sq ft poured 9 months ago, think they used a power trowel to finish.

I ordered 4 boxes of the rock solid in dark gray, but am having 2nd thoughts, wonder if I should go with the Amerlock 2 400.

This is diy so ease of installation can be a factor, also I can etch but dont want to sand. Drying time a little bit of a factor as I dont want to spread the work out over too many weekends.

Price between the two is comparable. Any thoughts.

etch and grind...don't skimp on the prep.

I would run my choices by one or two of the folks here who are specialists.

I would use the etch and prep material specified by the vendor I choose...ie don't mix one guy's etch with another guys primer or finish.

Have at least one more set of hands and crampons, just in case. Board the dog and small kids out for the duration.

IF the DIY says 4 units will cover 500sq ft, then buy another unit. Some makers are honest about this, others not even close and you don't want to be 90% complete and run out of material.

The Amerlock 2 400 looks like an 85% solids solvent-based epoxy from what I can find. If that is the case, I would recommend it over the RockSolid. RockSolid has coverage issues that creates color uniformity problems. Many complaints about that unless you plan on using two coats, then you will be fine.
