I was asked to make a video of my 1940s metal shaper. I thought you folks might enjoy it too.

Adam Booth got one and he is all excited about it. Other than making a very nice finish pass, I don't see the need for one of them once you have a good mill.

I have to admit, I don't use it much. The lathe and mill handle most of of needs. But it is fun to watch
