Does anyone own and/or have used an Ammco CV series or C series two post lifts? Are you happy with the purchase and the quality/construction of these lifts? Thanks, Mike.

A 4x4 shop I've used extensively has a bunch of them and I was just asking them how they liked Ammco's. They haven't had any problems with them. The only problem you'll have if you're looking for new is that Challenger is now making Ammco lifts according to Ammco.

Is there a problem with the Challenger lifts?

Are you sure about this because the NAPA branch that I am looking to get this from showed me a comparison and one of the competitors was Challenger.

Ammco website shows that they made by Hennessy Industries which is Danaher Corporation. Mike.

No problem with challenger that I'm aware. I'm actually looking at them for my shop. In talking with aamco the gentleman on the phone explained what I said about their lifts - no longer making their own and that challenger was labeling and marketing them.

Thanks for your replies. I actually was able to visit several local shops today that have several different brands that I have been comparing and talk to the owners and I think I am going to go with the Ammco. A local shop just down the street from my local NAPA store purchased two of them about two years ago and he has been extremely happy with them. He says he has an average of four to six cars a day on each one of them and they were holding up great and very stable/secure. Mike.
