New to this board. I had purchased a couple of waterbase Rustoleum epoxy kits a few months back and decided to read up on reviews before commencing work on my garage floor. Well, I am kinda scared after reading all the problems people have encountered with the rustoleum products. I don't want to spend a fortune on my floor, so that knocks a few competitors out of the equation. I've noticed a product - Amorclad- which isn't much more expensive than rustoleum and would like to know if anyone on this board has any experience with this product? Their product is more thick than rustoleum and they mention that it is self-leveling. My garage floor is sloped and I am wondering if this will cause a problem when applying it? That is will it continue to move down the slope beyond any masked taped sections?

Thanks in advance for your opinions and advice.

I believe the Armorclad is actually Armorpoxy. If so, I highly recommend it. My Armorpoxy (purchased from Armorgarage) floor is nearly one year old and has held up very well to hot tires, road salt, and general mild abuse.

The uncured epoxy behaves much like a really thick paint would. It starts to cure in about 30 minutes, so it's not going to move much on a sloped garage floor. Armorpoxy is 100% solids content, so it does not evaporate when curing like a water- or solvent-based product does.
