Ok I have a question about the amount of paint you get in a kit. I have a full kit from Epoxy-Coat and I know that it is to cover 500 sq ft. And I know that I have 2 parts Part A (the paint) and part B(the activator ) It is also my understanding that it is mixed in a ratio of 2(A) to 1(B) . I am going to divide my floor in 4 equal partsto help insure each part gets the same amount. I am an old body man and I have learned through out the years that paint work so much better when mixed in the correct amounts. And once mixed with a hardner what you don't use is junk. So to devide it correctly did I get 1.5 gals of paint and 1/2 gal activator for a total of 2 gals mixed or did I get 2 gals of paint with 1/2 gal activator making 2.5 mixed. I sent them an email just hoping to find out tonight. Thanks

It varies by brand. Follow the mixing instructions on the package. It's pretty straight forward.

And like paint and body, it's all about prepwork in advance. Do that, and nearly any of the products will work.

This seems to be a math problem so I should be a solid ground here (excluding for all the weight vs volume stuff with those ratios). Neither of your ratios seem correct. 1.5 Gallon with 1/2 Gallon gets you 3:1 and and 2 Gallon with a 1/2 Gallon gets you 4:1.

What you want is 2 gallons of paint with 1 gallon of hardener or 1 gallon of paint with half gallon of hardener or 1.5 gallons of paint with .75 gallons of hardener and so on. It's a ratio of A to B not a ratio of A to (A+B).

OK Let me try this in a different way. I have a full kit of Epoxy coat paint. I have an A Bucket and a B bucket. How much paint is in the A Bucket from the factory and how much is in the B bucket. The rest is math and I can figure that out .

Don't your cans say what you have? As for the math, your very first post had wrong ratios regardless of what have in your hands right now.

This is from thier site:

workhurts is correct. The instruction book has the oz measurements also. The kit is designed to make 4 single batches as seen on the measuring stick. Let me know if you need any help with any of this.
