If you have a copy of the NEC, look at the tables in article 310.

I would really have to work to pass a test. I don't know any of the formulas and barely understand math at caveman level. Only know where 4 wires go and got to look at the picture to do a 3 way.

Only thing I do know is volume up pressure down, up a little, down a little, up a lot, down a lot.
