AMT coupler?

I have bought a few universal couplers of different brands because my shop is a mix of T and M type fittings. Well, I don't have too much problem with the couplers myself but it seems like none of my (oldddddd) coworkers can push their tools into my line.

My shop is running 140psi on 3/8" hose. The fittings would snap into the coupler with minimal effort but once it is installed on the line it is much more difficult to push the fittings in. It appears that the fitting must overcome the pressure in the sealing valve/hose to be able to latch into the coupler.

Am I the only one with this problem? Anybody else have similar experience? Which brand makes geezer friendly couplers? I have tried expensive $20 Milton and $5 Taiwan couplers, all seems to work the same:dunno:

Are these push button couplers at the link below the ones you've tried?

Never used one, so I have no idea whether they'd be easier on the wizened weak fingers of your coffin-dodging cow-orkers, but they do mention the button cuts off air flow.
