amtico flooring

A few pictures of a recent amtico flooring project.I used this great Stanley
Cutter and utility knife.

I've installed quite a bit of Amtico flooring.
I see you used the water based adhesive. Not sure where you are located, but where I live, we have a pretty wide temperature swing plus I wanted the subfloor waterproof.
I used the two part epoxy.
Curious what you installed the Amtico over?

For those that don't know what Amtico is, it's photo realistic PVC flooring. Commercial grade flooring. Extremely tough and wear resistance.
It's held up great in my dental office operatories for the last 10 years.
It's pretty standard in the yachting industry too.

Not sure where the OP installed it, but really not designed to be installed over concrete.
Designed to be installed over Baltic Birch ply.

I'm from the United Kingdom,we used 6mm plyboard as a base.
I've installed it in our lounge,reception hall and with the remainder I tiled my wife's office.

Curious about why you can not use over concrete? I thought it was installed in many retail stores over concrete?

I just read the installation guidelines from Amtico and I guess you can install it over concrete. A leveling compound needs to be poured prior and they said moisture content of the slab should be measured.

Many years ago when I did my first install, I bought all my Amtico products from a fellow who served on the Amtico advisory committee. I thought I remember him telling me you couldn't install over concrete.
He said it shows every little imperfection
