A neighbor gave me this cause he's moving out of his house and getting rid of all of his tools. I took it cause I think it looks kinda cool. I've never used a press where you put a drill in it.

Will this work with my Dewalt or do you need some special type of drill?

Is this worth setting up to use? Or is it more of a pain. Just playing around with it a few minutes, it's super light and moves around so it would have to be bolted to a bench.

I have one too, had to rig it like crazy to get an old hand drill to fit (I could never get one of my holeshooters to square up), and even then, using it was no joy. If you want it's twin, let me know... right now it's taking up bench space.

Someone has to like these things. When I find said someone, they will get mine. I got mine for free... and it was worth every cent I paid for it.

So, I need this like I need an asbestos t-shirt?

Glad I didn't pay for it. I think it'll look kinda cool up on the shelf. If I get tired of it, I'll find someone to take it or just put it on a neighbor's porch in the middle of the night.

Before chucking it check to see if you have a drill motor that will fit it. I have one of those that is a larger size and it has saved my bacon a couple of times by using it where I could not get a mag based drill. Clamp the base onto what ever you are drilling and go for it. Not purty but effective.

Also if needed in the right situation, the top assembly can be inverted, to use drilling up.

Probably won't be needed much, but always an option. You could always put a drill and a paint mixer and have your own mixer. Got to think a little out of the box.
