The other day I picked this up for 4 bucks. I thought I would be able to use it around the house to bring things back and forth from garage to back yard.

So, I cleaned it, sanded very little, wire brushed here and there. Put some rust inhibitor, then 2 coats of paint on it. Then I searched online for where I could find some new wheels. Found some at HF for 5.99 ea. Then swung on over to Home Depot and picked up thread stock, nuts, and washers.
Here is where it stands today.

PS Apologies in advance if this is on the wrong section.

That is a nice cart save UAC !!! I like your avatar as well. I'm a 66-67 Elco and Chevelle nut (I have a 69SS Couoe).

Thank you. It turned out so nice my neighbor said I should sell it. It works as I intended it to. The box that has been rusted out I assume is for tools, I am not a welder so I didn't even know it was for Oxy/Ace until yesterday when my neighbor saw me working on it. That picture is our 67 el Camino. Been in our family since March of '67.

Damn straight that is sweet! :rocker:

And somehow the dark green makes it "look like" a gas welding rig.
