I have some JACO gauges (just gauges, not inflators) and those are nice, and I have a Milton inflator with a gauge, but it's a different style.

The only thing that concerns me about that specific inflator is the amount of plastic molded components on a tool that usually doesn't live a pampered life in most environments. Getting dropped or tossed off to the side on the concrete, etc. I know nobody here treats tools like that, just saying... Lol

Hi, looking for an analog dial inflator with a clip-on connector, for home use. Is this Milton any good? Any other recommendations? Don’t need digital, and don’t need bayonet style. COO does not matter either. Just need something that is accurate for home use.

Thanks.

160 PSI? Are you doing a lot of bike tires or something?

I always recommend Longacre . . .

No, just regular cars with 60 psi max for spares. Just came upon that one when searching for clip-on connector.

I did order a JACO, primarily due to reading about their warranty and customer service. It should come in this week.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I sincerely hope it works well for you. I've thrown 2 of their pressure gauges in the trash after they stopped working. Quality on the Jaco's seems really hit or miss.

I hope it works. They advertise a lifetime warranty so if it dies, hopefully they will replace it. Fingers crossed.

***** they only go to 60psi. I have their digital tire gauge and it's really nice. My truck and trailer need 80psi.

Well sure, if one has equipment that needs higher pressure that Milton is great. I have a gauge that goes to 100psi, It gathers dust.

My pressure guage, unfortunately no longer available, but it last retailed for about $90:

I suspect a lot of the Taiwan-made 2.5” dial guages you see here are very similar, aside from the air hose, air chuck, and proptective casing, and the difference in pricing often is only a matter of whether it’s calibrated and ANSI tested.

The Milton 573 trigger is super durable American made quality. Alot of the systems have crappy Schrader clips but not Milton.
Amazon warehouse had a “used like new” Milton 573A, same as what I originally linked in the first post, for $37. I bought that too just now. When they both (JACO and Milton) arrive, I will keep the one I like the best.
