Looks like you need another shed for all the things in that Garage

Cheers Paul

I agree!!!! A good bit of it is stuff from back when we first moved in. I haven't found away to get the old lady to give up here stuff yet. I can only put so much in the trash can every week without her noticing.

So whats the plan?

I've got paint for the wall knight gray lower and shock blue strip on top of it. I picked up 6 2xT8 light fixture, and will be putting down some gladiator floor tiles when ever they go back on sale. Some shelves around get stuff of the floor. I have a ideal on the bench and cabinets, but waiting to see what I can pick up from someones remodel.

That will eat up my budget for the time being. Now I just need to figure out sometime to do it all. :headscrat

Try what my friend used to do.Whenever the wife and kids left town for a few days,he would rent a van, load up a whole bunch of their stuff and take it to a charity or the dump. The funny part was, when they got back, they didn't even know the stuff was gone!

Lighting is up. I think it turned out great. There was a little concern with the darn ductwork running in the middle of the ceiling.

Update. I got tired of looking at plain walls so I decided to paint some strips at last. Let me first say that textures walls are a pain. I started with blue painters tape and clear paintable caulking, and was very disappointed with the way it looked. I reset for the next day and went at it again with green tape designed for crisp lines. We laid the tape and rollered it with a rubber roller I found in the wallpaper aisle. This turned a half way decent results and I stuck with it throughout the process. I do need to go back and touchup a few spots where I got a little crazy with the roller and went in to the white area. If I ever go about it again I would go through the trouble of smoothing out the walls first. I had a Lowes card for a father days present from the girlfriend a while back and decided on some shelving for my blank 15ft wall. As you can see on my other photos I have a lot of junk to get off the floor. I also moved my shelving unit that I had to a different wall so I can install a garage sink it the old location. I hate dragging items through the house to clean them up in the kitchen or bathroom sink. I also installed a nice 12ft by 12ft workbench design stolen from a board member. Let me know what you think.

Looks great. More details on your fluorescent lights please? I'm gonna do something similar to what you did soon and am interested if you added circuits or just replaced incandescent lights...or what problems/issues you had?

I simply just replaced incandescent lights. There was no need to add circuits since I did some quick math I had 4 x 100W incandescent bulbs and switched over to 12 x 32W florescent bulbs. I in fact use 16W less energy and gained a lot more light. The installation was a snap the toughest part was making sure all the lights were some what centered and spread out to ensure I go the most out of the lighting. I ended up with 4 foot T8 light fixtures from Home Depot. The lights boarder right on the line of too much light at night; which was the plan from the start.
