TorquePro is a must have if check engine lights and their causes drive you nuts. It will be 20-30 bucks for the app and the BT dongus. I've been using this one with my android tablet for logging. It says in the directions to not use while vehicle is in motion...right. If you are a gadget head, this one will keep you buisy for a while.

Unit converter

Ohm's law electrical calculator.

I have a couple tide chart apps that I use when I head to the ocean, but thats really not shop related.

Video hider-got to put those riske' videos somewhere so the Mrs. doesn't find them:)

History eraser.

A friend at work had a cool bubble level app for his phone - I think it was an Android. It would either read as a circular level with a bubble in the center (if it was level) or a carpenter type level with the slightly curved tube, again with the bubble in the middle when it was level. It was amazingly accurate and pretty cool.

I have two. Not much use unless your in the business.

Universal Service Reset - gives instruction for resetting oil change reminder light for just about every vehicle. FREE or $1.99 I forget. No account or passwords needed.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.servicereset.app&feature=search_result

VinScan Pro - Scan the vehicles vin number barcode and it returns all the info on the vehicle. First 20 scans FREE after that 10 cents each No account or passwords needed. You just buy more scans through your phone and pay via your phone bill just like paying for apps.

Torque Pro is a good one, just keep in mind it's an app not a professional scanner.
Vin Viper - I use this at work. Scan the vin, snap a picture of the license plate and vehicle, upload it to the office computer then onto the invoice.
Transtar & Slauson for ****** parts
Napa & World Pac for auto parts
There's a whole slew of tool apps, levels, lights, protractors, electrical calculators & diagrams, resistor i.d., etc.
Garage Buddy is eh,so so. I would like to see more "garage" related apps but there's just not much available yet.

Napa & World Pac for auto parts--cut--

I like the idea of auto parts stores and being able to scan the vin. Very convenient instead of doing it all on the laptop. I have installed the NAPA one and can't wait to try it out. I don't always go to NAPA I wish the Chains would get an app going. I suppose they all will as soon as one catches on.

I use Evernote to track all my maintenance, part #'s, prices, etc. on all the vehicles and equipment. I never have to try and remember especially on the wife's van.
