I have been aware / storked the forum for a good few years, I now have something to post and get involved
I'm in the South of England, i'm very fortunate to have a good size 2 car garage under my house, there is also a storage room at the back of the garage.
The photos in this post are of the garage just before we purchased the house, that's nearly 5 years ago. The house is at a stage of fair completeness as far as renovation is concerned, so it's now the garages time.
The plan is to make the storage room into a wash room / clean storage / plant room / wifes hobby room. This room needs to be slightly larger than is currently is to allow all that to happen. So the wall between the 2 has come down and is in the process of being rebuilt a few feet further over.
The garage will house my workshop / bike storage / paddleboard storage / general storage / car wash station / 911 parking. So plenty to fit in there too. I want the space to be adaptable so the workbench is going to be on wheels so that it can be moved around as required.
The garage door is good, with a Sommer door opener. There is a door out back to the rear garden. The house was built in the 70's, the lounge floor above has a little spring in it as the joists were spec'ed a little undersized, so that will be addressed.
Hoping starting this thread will in some way spur me on to get this project going and get it finished, and also may uncover ideas and advice from those viewing that will stop me making mistakes.
