My new build motorcycle shop officially has a name now, "Andy's Holed Piston Garage". I got a custom graphic decal made through T-ways Graphics. I gave Jim at T-ways the idea, and he created the graphic. My idea came from a piston out of my Arctic Cat snowmobile, that I "holed" when it ran too lean. That piston will become the door knob into the shop.

Piece of garage art to go with the name theme:
I also have a "piston con-rod" light mounted at the front peak of the garage roof.

That's a piston from my ZR580 Arctic Cat snowmobile. "Just" a bit lean, but ran like hell just before the cylinder dropped out. I was able to run on one cylinder on the trail until I got to a road. Removed a spark plug, and saw the top of the con-rod through the piston. Hmmm,...that's not normal.

Well, on one cylinder I made it to a road access, then I called a buddy with a snowmobile trailer and he came to pick it and me up.

I made the display figuring when someone comes over to hang around the shop it'll be a good conversation starter.
