angle die grinder help. made in usa needed

as some know I made a post in the past about buying one.

last week I bought a Stanley Fat Max and tired it out.

-sound is quiet
-plenty of power for my use

nice feel but dam it feels like it has bad bearings when I free hand . I am not happy . feels like it will fail fast.

so Long story short I want a good one for $2xx range. Made in USA with lifetime warranty

my compressor is 3.2hp 60 gal

I have a couple of the PT210As. I love them. Perfect blend of power and control. I strongly dislike the PT110A because it is very weak compared to the 210 IMO. The only thing is that SO (as well as most companies) don't have lifetime warranty on air tools, it's only one year.

Snap On and the most HP you can afford. Snappy also has flat rate rebuild which gives you another year of warranty. Have you looked at Florida Pneumatic? They have a metal one and one that is plastic like the ones you show above ..no experience with their angle grinders but have 3 of the straight 751's that are going on 15 yrs (shop use as machinist) and will not die..

I have also been thinking about buying a Sioux die grinder. I noticed at the bottom of the listing that they are made by Snap On. Is this true? I would have figured it would be the other way around that Sioux would be making them for Snap On.

I own an AG60AH, very happy. No complaints. I used it daily for over a year removing paint/primer from new antennas we were installing on military jets. Oiled it daily and still running strong.

all my die grinders except 1 are Dotcos, the other is a 100k rpm 1/8" Cleco

I have 1 that is 40+ years old, zero problems

you will hate the double lever ones, I do, get an old single lever.......screw OSHA

look for a 12,000rpm one, I have 2, one with a 3" disc the other a 3" wire brush

watch pawn shops, CL and ebay.....

you don't want to know what they cost new

guys that port cylinder heads like Jerry Branch, ONLY use Dotcos

I also have the Mac grinder, which works great. Going on two years of daily heavy duty use. My only complaint is that I saw the exact same grinder labled husky pro on home depots website for 65 dollars.
