Yes. I don't recall if it was the Vevor specifically but it was cheap and Chinese. I bought it for the exact same purpose and it worked like a charm.

Since yesterday morning when I saw that first post, I have been visualizing the various ways I could manage to inflict serious physical injury to myself with that thing in pretty short order. (y)

I have never used one of the Vevor kits, but I do have one of the Metabo tube sander units. I have a TON of hours on my unit blending stainless welds for handrailing.

I would HIGHLY recommend you use a variable speed grinder with that bolt on kit. The speed of a typical angle grinder is usually way too fast for a belt sander attachment, especially if you want to make your belts last.

I am also curious if it uses the same size belt as the Metabo, their belts are very high quality and last quite a while.
