Angle Grinder Safety

I accidentally stumbled on this photo this evening. I'm no angle grinder safety expert, but I intend to become more informed. Wear full face protection. Don't take the guard off. Maybe some type of armored apron or chest protector. It wouldn't take more than a blink of an eye for this to happen.

AD: yep grinder and tool safety in general is not taken as seriously as it should. I started a thread a while back you and others might want to read and watch a few videos that are in it if you think you can handle a little blood.

I can't tell you how often I fired up big or little grinders without even safety glasses on up until a few years ago. I still catch myself almost not grabbing my full face shield that is usually hanging on the grinder now.
