Angle wrenches degree?

So it looks like there are two varieties of open end angle wrenches. 15/60 degree angle seems to be the more common. And 30/60 degree angle from Snap On. Are there other brands with 30/ 60 ? Is the 30 worth having over the 15 in light of the 15 being the norm on regular open end and combo wrenches?

I'd love to know if anyone else makes the 30/60 wrenches other than SO too. I have the small Snap On set but want to have a set that goes to 2".

Caterpillar sells 30/60 angle wrenches which are rebranded Snap-On.
Here is a thread discussing Snap-On and Caterpillar wrenches when the REAL prices were still on the Snap-On website.

V8 Tools also sells 30/60 angle wrenches, but they used to sell 15/60's as well so you have to be careful if you find them online. I've heard they "aren't as good as Snap-On" but I can't quantify that since I don't own them.

The 30/60 wrench is the only way to go. The 30° will get you in places the 15° won't go.

Ebay is a great place to start a set. Or try getting prices for the cat-branded wrenches at your local Caterpillar dealership.

That is great that somebody finally copied Snap-on. I am still not certain I need them. I don’t work on big truck or farm implement hydraulic systems. Where else would I need them?

30/60 is favored by aircraft mechanics.

Why doesn't everybody copy snap on 30/60? Is it under patent or something?

atd 1181a. hard to find the "a" set but they are 30/60. the 1181 set are 15/60.

You can usually make do with the 15/60 but yes the 30/60 are superior and are worth it if it's a regular use item. Don't know how much use auto mechanic would get out of them though

Thanks for the links and suggestions so far. Yes, it is clear that 30/60 would be better. Too bad the only choices seem to be on the extreme ends of the quality / price spectrum (at least based on reviews and such).

I am curious if anyone really knows why others have not made 30 / 60?
