Angle Wrenches

After reading the thread about everyones favorite Snap-on tools and seeing several people mention the 4way angle wrenches as one of their favorites, as well as seeing the interest in the angle wrenches in the $99 snap-on tool thread, my interest has been piqued. To those of you who have the 4-way wrenches, other than hydraulics and such, what specific jobs do you find them useful for?

They come in very handy in tight places, sometimes they are just right for a nut that is tucked away and blocked by other parts. Also when you have to use an open end wrench and you have limited swing, the angle wrenches allow you to to get at the nut at many angles so you don't have to swing the wrench as far to catch the next flat. I've had a couple things were a normal wrench wouldn't work and the angle came to the rescue.

They aren't something you will use everyday but when you do need them they are very nice to have.

Angle wrenches are very nice to have indeed. You will not be disappointed with them if you purchase a set. As far as uses go, you'll always a find use for a tool once you have it.

brake line nuts on abs boxes, 3/4" angle wrench for fuel incection lines on a 6.5 lt diesel injection pump saves at least an hour on that job , fuel line flare nuts at the fuel filter etc

Other than pulling hydraulic lines I don't think I've ever used one bigger than a 3/8". I've used the tiny ones quite a few times over the years fiddling with outboard motors and old cars, but not for much else.

I find myself grabbing these wrenches first when I need to counter hold nuts while driving bolts in.

Holding/tightening angled brass fittings: elbows and such.

I have a set of Bonney SAE and metrics. Wonder how I did HVAC for 20 years without them!
Great under the hood of the truck, and bicycle brake fasteners, too.
