I bought a used 2 post 9k Rotary lift. I did not see it assembled before purchasing.
My question, is there a difference between the left and right post? This is Asymmetrical and the base has an angle on one side of it. I am assuming this angle faces towards the rear of the vehicle?

In my mind, I would think they would technically interchange and you could put the motor on either side.

Thanks for any help as I can't find a clear answer on the internet. I should have the book tomorrow so that may clear things up.

You can probably find a manual and installation instructions online. I recommend you get one and read it carefully before you install your lift. I bought an old VBM/Challenger asymmetric lift a few months back and found everything I needed online. I’m very happy with mine. It very much makes a difference how you set it up. Best of luck.
