Are the open end sections of a combo wrench with the nonslip type grip ribs (such as ones found on some Wrightgrip and SK wrenches) which could mark bolts or nuts allowed in aircraft repair and maintenance?

I know my dad has wright grips at work (on A/C), but also snappy. Not sure if he only uses them if they're tossing hardware or what.

Air Force(hydraulics on C130's) and A&P mech here. Yes, you can use any anti-slip wrench, we primarily use proto/snap-on. on softer metal, like aluminum AN fittings we are careful not to damage it, but we also are provided with angle wrenches(best wrench for fittings).
