With only the one view to make a guess, I would have to say that

it is a tailpipe cutting tool. The handle is to keep yer hand in the

safety zone. I also would be guessing that it is an almost useless

item, since there is hardly any room to work on the exhaust sytem

especially when swinging a hammer. I would opt for an air chisel any

day. (not trying to belittle your find)

Muffler cutter for use with hand hammer. I always use a muffler tool in an air hammer and don't have my hands in the way of the hammer. Does not work with all welded systems.
