Finally got my Arcan XL325R floor jack. $105 at Costco. Thanks to fellow GJ members for recommending it.
Seems to be a great unit so far. Low profile, wide base, long reach, quick pump action ... my only small complaint would be this thing is heavy. Which is not necessarily a bad thing.
Funny story ... since I was recovering from surgery at the time, heavy lifting was best avoided. So I scoped out the situation and decided it would be best to just slide the box off the stack directly onto a shopping cart, then slide the box into the trunk of my Mustang. A friend could help me with it later.
To make a long story short ... I left the heavily laden cart in one central location and loaded other items as needed. Twice I observed Costco workers from afar taking items from my cart & put them back on the shelf, obviously thinking the cart had been abandoned. Just had to laugh since they didn't put the heavy floor jack back as well.
Here's a few pics. The old Blackhawk and Sears jacks will be relegated to secondary use from now on.
