G'Day! I'm Dave, and like most people I have been lurking for some time before being polite and saying hello.
I once taught wood and metal shop in schools. I left that and built a portable sawmill and ran a part time business with it while also working as a farm hand. I now work for a church in Sydney.
My housing is supplied by my employer, so my shed (garage!) is not mine but they let me do whatever I like with it (I nearly burnt it down once. I don't think they were in favour of that).
I have a couple of old Honda bikes. I like old cars. I like fixing, making and designing stuff!
I have been greatly inspired by what I have seen here on GJ.
