Bought a house some years ago, with a bit of space (our area is very populated, no "outdoors" here), I got lucky to actually stumble onto a house with some weird property lines, providing some room for an attached garage.
The house on the right is ours, our garage extends behind the neighbour's house (left side of the pics).
Where you see the excavator, that used to be an alley, with another house where my garage will come. Some 60-70 years ago, the owners bought (or took) that house and the alley, and annexed it to their property.
Main part will be a 32*22 workshop with a small (9x20) entry from the street, due to existing space constraints...
Finally started the build... here's some pics of the progress.
