Another "Carolina" tool question

As strange as this is, I have come across another "Carolina" tool that I am considering purchasing. It is a Carolina HD-10 horizontal bandsaw for $500. It has mixed reviews so far and I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with it?

I bought a Carolina press last week and have been happy with it so far. It seems that people think this is a great brand or they think that they are sold by gypsies in the SE U.S.

The price seems a bit steep, but the selection of bandsaws in Southern Oregon is pretty poor.

Thanks for any input.

Disregard: I finally finished reading a lengthy review and it did not end well. The search will continue.

The gypsy angle does not imply that Carolina is inherently bad stuff. What the gypsies do is buy it from Carolina for a few hundred dollars and then resell them on the road for mucho dinero. So, at a few hundred dollars, Carolina is what it is, but when someone ends up paying a grand or more for a Carolina item, they will never recoup their investment.

Most of the Carolina stuff is low end chicom junk sold out of the back of trucks with some sort of strange story. I would not buy any of their stuff, either new or used (also sold under the name of Titan Industrial) after seeing some of the horror stories on the web. Buy used new or used American to get something good, or even go to HF so at least you can bring it back if it does not work right.
