Not a bad score. Yeah, it's made in the Peoples Republic but for the price and the amount of time it's gonna be used, I don't care! Dayton 8", 3/4 hp buffer with all the polishing compounds shown for $65. This one was lightly used. The PO bought it and polished a few pieces of cabinet hardware then put it away. I've seen these retail in the $180 range. I always wanted a dedicated buffer! Now I gotta build a stand.

Nice, I would love to have a dedicated polishing set up. Shine something up and post a pick, I want to see a mirror finish.

Very good Score! I want one like that sooner or later. Right now I use my 8" craftsman unit one side has a dedicated grinding wheel the other side goes between a Wire Wheel and a Polishing wheel!

I ordered one from Northern for $70ish. I am rebuilding an old Honda motorcycle with my son and we are polishing up all the aluminum parts. I find it very therapeutic to watch an ugly piece of metal turn pretty. Have fun with your new machine!
