This is my crowning achievement so far. This is a pearl black and metallic silver diamond chekered floor. The logo was saw cut and dremeled, then grouted along with all the checkered board. Enjoy.

I charged $12 per sqft for the metallic and pearl checkered and $2500 for the logo. This job took me 7 days in total. Unfortunately the detail in the horse and the pearl cannot be appreciated by the pics but when the sun hit, it gleemed.

I will be adding this to my site soon.

This is truly stunning! Fantastic!

Is the horse, etc all done by hand? did you use a stencil? Can you talk a bit more about the method you used to do this?

Thanks for sharing... ever thought of doing something like this on a garage floor? :bounce:

Thanks for the compliments.

I used a hilti 4 inch grinder with a diamond cutting wheel to cut all the diamonds and for most of the horse. For the smaller details, such as eyes and muscle tone, I used a dremel with diamond bits. I initially used a stencil for the outlines but while cutting it would completely cover it with dust. Believe it or not, most was done freehand.

I then grouted it and topcoated with a silver pearl blended polyaspartic.

Nice work.

So you cut the diamonds so it would give you a defined edge and to avoid taping?

Never thought of doing that.

That logo is sick!

Thanks for the compliment. Being that my competition may be lurking I cannot divulge my exact process. But since you are in Jersey and if you want a diamond or square pattern, I would happily show you and cut it for you. Just buy me lunch.
