Greetings garageniks.

So here's the scoop: current house has long-ish driveway and attached 2-car garage, "standard size". Fairly high probability we stay in this house for the duration. If so, we will probably add a porte cochere in front, and I'll noodle on a design to push back the depth of the garage by 50%, thereby having decent room to build my Cobra replica (which hopefully will commence within 18 months).

If some plans work out and I catch a couple of breaks, then we will purchase property and build a "family compound". The rough layout calls for two separate garages, one for everyday family vehicles (we have 4 kids) and a smaller one for my hobby inclinations. Much wonderfulness would ensue if/when that pans out.

At this point I want to turn my VERY multi-use garage from an embarassment into something that resembles manliness and such.

Glad to be here.
