Today on my way home from work, traffic
Slowed up and I noticed an Estate Sale sign
So I detoured around to find it. This is dangerous
For me ,, my shop is filled with impulse buys
And some day projects..we’ll i went through
The sale with objective eyes and almost made it out
It out empty handed. Then I saw this large
“Metal parts drawer file thing” and it was filled
To the top of just about every drawer with
Bolts and ETC . I asked and she said $45.
With every thing inside ,, so it’s mine now
I emptied the drawers into about 6 5-gallon
Buckets. And left them There. I have no need
For more of that ****. I kept about 2 buckets
Of usable stuff, including over 30 brass ball and gate
Valves sizes for on 1\4” to 1-1/4”.
Even empty with the drawers removed the cabinet
Weighs about 150 lbs
It’s 20” wide x 30” deep x 53” tall
These drawers are sweet . You depress the small
Aluminum bar under the drawers and they pop
Out spring loaded and on nice bearings.
So I’m pretty pumped. Time to get a bit more organized

My hardwire cabinet is nearly identical to that one. I painted mine to match my tool boxes and filled the drawers with those deep plastic receptacle boxes...got the idea on this board.

These are great for organizing your hardware.

I have always wanted a nice cabinet like that, preferably two of them. Maybe I will get lucky some day and find a couple of them for a decent price.

I bought this cabinet for $10, I regret not buying the twin to it, & 2 other half height cabinet, they do quite well at a local online auction.

Instead they were baled up with other light gauge metal.

That's a keypunch card file, back from the olden days when you had to have a keypunch machine and a pile of keypunch cards to put into your room sized computer to get an answer.

Nice find.

Yes, you ****!
