Sorry, seems like we discuss flare nut wrenches a few times a week. I currently have a nice SAE and metric set of the old SK made Craftsman Pro flare nut wrenches. These do not have the offset on them. I'm thinking about picking up a used set of Snap On flare nut wrenches that have the offset. My question is, is there ever really a situation where you needed a flare wrench where the 0* offset would of been better? Reason I ask is because I am thinking about listing the Craftsman sets up for sale if I can get by with just one set.

I've never been in a situation, that I can remember, where 0 offset would have helped, but I can think of a few where it might have made the job harder because of clearances. If you ever have to split a fitting where both need a flare, then keeping the set might be worth it.
