Seems I joined the forum over 6 years ago, and have done nothing but lurk ever since. So, I suppose I should do as the newbies do; and introduce myself.
My name is Gib, and I live in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. I'm originally from Michigan, but came to KC for a 6 month project in 2005....which, I suppose, ran longer than planned.....
Eventually this place started to feel more like home than the place I was born. I fell in love with the city and its people. Eventually fell in love, and bought a permanent residence a few years ago. I finally sold my primary home in Michigan last week, and now finally have to consolidate all of my stuff in one spot.
The new place has a great garage, and a decent sized shop at the back of the property, but my organizational skills are lacking, and due to moving most of my stuff from Michigan recently.....most of my space is completely cluttered and unusable.
I'll be posting another thread soon detailing my garage journey....more than likely needing help and suggestions from some of the veterans here. Looking at all of the different garages posted here has my mind reeling, and I'm chomping at the bit to get started.
Looking forward to finally interacting with some of you.
