Hey all!! Found this place while I was reseaching my last project. I have been checking in for hint, tips, and idea's of inspiration for about a year. Now that I'm in the meat and potatos of building my new shop I decided to join up. I'm a married 32 year old father on none. Located in Beaver Pa. I was employed at a Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Land Rover Lotus dealer in Pittsburgh for the last few years but have left their for fame and fourtune in the lush fields of building custom ordered Hot Rods. My shop is a 30x35 pole building with out enough clearance for a proper lift. So next year when it needs a new roof the trusses are coming off and a 4' stud wall will be erected and the trusses and new metal roof will go back on! I just put a 6" steel and fiber concrete floor in and 100 Amp service is almost completed. This is my home shop I dont generally take on side work unless it is for a buddy or custom. The toys that sit in there now include my 1972 Datsun 240z with a 383 TPI chevy engine a TH700R4 trans and a Dana 44m from a 82 vette for drive train. I just sold my 1987 Mazda RX-7 with a carbed 350/2004r. I also have my 1990 Jeep YJ Sitting on 35" mudders 6" of SUA lift a 4.6l Stroker with Megasquirt EFI and a CJ nose job. The wifes new toy is her 1990 MX-5 Miata that she is wanting me to turbocharge before this spring. Thanks for reading this far, love the site!! Keith

Hey 383 240Z, welcome to the forums! Do you have any pictures of your Z and other vehicles? I love Z cars, they are without a doubt my favorite cars. I've been thinking of building a 383/T56 Z, but after some thinking, budgeting, and research, I'm leaning towards a 350 with a Muncie 4-speed instead.
