Five of those things ganged along one wall with a solid top and that would be maybe the ultimate combo tool storage/workbench. I'd probably sell the other five to pay off the purchase in the first place.

I'm in SoCal - a full day's drive away from Stockton, but I'd love to have those things.

Someone on here needs to snag them, and post pics of their installation.

And, if that someone got a great deal and felt really thankful to good ol' Bull for showing them the deal, then heck, I wouldn't turn down a free one freighted my way!:lol_hitti

If you look at the rest of the seller's stuff, you'll see some nice cabinets and welding tables as well.

Don't know why they sell the stuff in lots -- who needs four welding tables? Well, a school does, which is probably what they were bought for.

(Rant below: as a California taxpayer, it's kind of frustrating to see money spent on that stuff and have it end up sitting out in the weather, never used, until it's sold as surplus.)

Too TRUE. I recently bought about two tons (over 3500 lbs) of stuff from a college. Most of it was brand new in the boxes. Cabinets and roller carts. Some was slightly used. All of it sold for less than 1 cent on the dollar they paid.
I sold most of it in one day for ten times what I paid, still a fraction of what they lost.
Not that they cared.

If any of you guys are serious about wanting one I'll freight one to you and cut you a good deal. I'm planning on bidding actually. I'm very close to this auctions location.

Let me know if you win, I am close by too.

I'm watching now. I haven't bid yet. I dunno last check they were up to $255 or something. I'll bid if someone else wants a couple or something but I'm not taking 10 in the bo-bo all by myself.

Do you have any inkling whatsoever of the freight cost to someone way out here on the east coast?

Well, the price really jumped. Still, at around $110 per cabinet, if they are heavy duty, it's not a bad price.

Was it one of you guys?

Hello Bull

Thank you very much for the "tip". After spending a good amount of time looking at them, at the amount of storage and the quality of these cabinets, I actually ended up getting them with a buddy of mine. I will definitely be posting pictures when I install them. I am in the process of building my "dream garage" and will definitely put them to good use. I have been waiting and looking for something like this for quite a while, so I wanted to thank you again very much for starting the thread.

Well holy smokes...I did not see this reply until just now, so I did not know one of our own bought these. That's awesome, and makes me feel good for posting the link.

Please do give us an update!
