Looks AWESOME!

How slick is that floor when it's wet?

I have had epoxy floors in the past and I don't have kids and walk normal without running and they were never a problem but 99.9% were never "wet" since being inside...I did mop them but stayed off until dry.
Due to the slight texture of the VCT I think it might be more slip resistant than epoxy...but why walk on a wet floor?

It's not that anyone would intentionally walk on a wet floor, I was more referring to an invisible spill that would blend in on a lightly colored floor.

Adding silica into the top clear coat is a measure I've heard about to fight against this. It still remains smooth, but adds just enough grip.

My Favorite....

I painted a skin for one of my Nascar PC games way back based off that one with the stars. Sweet looking boats and I absolutely love your floor! Garage looks great as a whole!

Any garage I've had has always been white. The more I see multicolors the more I think I'm going to do that as well. Looks great!

That looks like Ted Faggert in the right lane in Superstar? I know Ted and actually use to work for him when I was younger. My dad and I have had boats over the years and have been to many races. We were building a drag boat at one time but where to busy with other hobbies. We still have the Top Fuel Flat, "Panic Mouse 007".

Ch, thank you for sharing this build with all of us. You have a beautiful result and must be thrilled to say the least . Enjoy the "fruits" of your labor and money!

p.s. Anyone who completes a "build" is OBLIGATED to continue updates with the "furnishing" process, just an FYI in case you didn't read the "rules".

Just shy of 2.5 years on the build. Beautiful design. That is just not enough grass for me. I love mowing. Probably the only thing stopping me from building the 30x30 garage I want.

Thanks for the compliment on the design and yes it took all of 2 1/2 years...hard to expedite a build when you have a 6 day a week job, do everything on your own and build out of pocket.
I like mowing too...my front yard...and for the back I would rather have a 1300 sq ft garage and 700 sq ft of grass for the dogs to....instead of a 700 sq ft garage and 1300 sq ft of grass...

Just stumbled across this garage build. I know it is an older thread but I just had to say what a great job you did and how nice it turned out. Great job.

Thanks Mike,
I have paid attention to some of your work as well...off the chart to say the least!
Whenever you finish a project I always look back and ask "what could I have done different?"...have to say I am satisfied.
Thanks again

Ditto. Was directed here from the "recessed lighting" thread.
What a beautiful workplace. I hope to get mine to this level of finish one day.

P.S. that is a big retaining wall. The engineer did not overkill the rebar ;)
I would of used even more, LOL.
