That stuff looks great and all. But how will it hold up in a real world garage?

Those floor tiles are cool too but after I thought about it. Your going to get dirt, grease in those grooves and its gonna seep under the floor. Ugh... Someone had posted www.originalcolorchips.com the other day. I checked that out and got a quote.

For me that will work out better. But hey everyone intends to use things differently so do what suites you! :bounce:

That garage paint is water based, just so you know. I had used Griots Garage paint before and it's water based, and it did hold up well, but I will be going epoxy when it warms up.

Looking at the construction I'd say that they'll hold up better than the usual MDF/fiberboard a lot of places are selling...

As for the tiles, they're RaceDeck - which quite a few people here have used with favorable results.

Moduline is what we're now looking at, as its fairly affordable for the high quality of the units. Its going to be tough to decided between Moduline and Vault "designer" series.

Sears now offers the Geneva Modular steel cabinets, but nothing like the Moduline/Vault.

Something like this would be great, but you can make unlimited amounts of combinations, its pretty slick.

Also Note Moduline has a Sportsman Series thats more economical.

Moduline makes some quality cabinets, for sure.

I have found a cheaper alternative, however: Large hospitals are continually remodelling their spaces, and rarely re-use cabinets, shelving, etc. The hospitals in my area usually have a yearly auction for old equipment. You can find good deals on wall cabinets, base cabinets with formica or stainless tops, stainless work tables, stools, and all sorts of shelving. Call your local hospitals and ask to speak to the purchasing department, as they usually control disposition of obsolete equipment.
