Alright... I need some help here.
Epoxy floor, professionally installed, just over 3 years old.
Over the weekend I cleaned the floor the same way I have been cleaning for the last 3 years without issue. Swept out all debris, hosed down floor, splashed a little Simple Green around, brushed down entire floor, hosed down floor again, squeegeed excess water out the garage door.
After drying, I had a white residue on the last 2-3 feet of the floor. I hosed down, and squeegeed again. Looked great until it dried. Hosed down, brushed, rinsed, squeegeed. Same result.
The line appears to coincide with where the sun was hitting the floor. My guess is a Simple Green / water mix dried on this area while I was working on other parts of the floor. It was mid 90s... so my guess is the mixture got cooked on the floor before being rinsed. Ugh.
I've read through some of the other threads about epoxy stains / whitening and have tried vinegar in small areas without success. I have not tried CLR.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
