Hey Everyone...Great site! Thanks to all that have posted...You've given me lots of ideas to improve my garage. Here are some current pics... It's around 25x35x10.5, insulated, drywalled, primed, epoxy floor, 8 extra outlets (on many lines), additional ceiling lighting, ProPark 7 lift, Craftsman tool chests and compressor. Next project (when I find the time): Custom cabinets to replace the 2x4 shelving. Thanks, Battman

Actually, the wife was smart enough to keep her car out of the way during the destructive phase of this project...The Jeep is what I drive all winter in the fun WI weather...

My vote would be for better lighting. Put some drapes on the shelves. Yeah velvet drapes and it could be the guy cave. lol

Hey what the ...... Yeah I deserve it. What I meant was some cloth to cover his shelving in the meantime. Way to much caffiene this morning.

I'm actually fairly pleased with the lighting...I have 10 cheap light fixtures with a 200W bulb in each of them (on 3 seperate switches). It doesn't look as good as recessed lighting and it ***** some power, but it does the job.

I need to work on the heat (you can probably see my vent needing heater in one of the pics)...it works, but I hate leaving the door partially open for venting. And I'd like to get the cleaner look of some cheap cabinets...
