Another generator neutral bonding question Genmax inverter generator

I have a Genmax inverter generator that is a model made exclusively for Sams club , it is a 5500 surge 4000 running dual fuel model with a frame and wheels . On it the outlets it has push button breakers a 20 amp and 30 amp , and it says by the plugs that the floating neutral is bonded to the frame. I bought this to run my trane xl heat pump / propane furnace in an emergency if power goes out in winter. I have a plug installed on my furnace that disconnects it from grid power. I would like to plug my generator into the trane xl furnace to run it and as a precaution shut off the breaker for the furnace and the main . Am I right in thinking if I do this and have my thermostat set to my backup heat source which is the propane and not heat pump it should work . There is a box with a on off switch and outlet on it on the furnace that the cord goes into the furnace, this is the cord I will plug into my generator. The box that houses the switch /outlet on the furnace will get shut off also but it has a ground in it and is a metal box mounted to the furnace , will this ground cause me a problem? Do I need to bond my neutrals on this inverter application, I believe I do but the floating neutral bonded to frame and the breakers have me wondering, Thanks in advance for any info. Should I use a neutral bonding plug, but if I do will the ground wire in the furnace mounted steel box feed back to the main box and cause problems?

That doesnt make sense. a floating neutral would NOT be bonded. If the neutral is bonded, it shouldnt be called floating.

no need to shut off any breakers since the furnace is cord and plug connected.

no, it wont cause any issues. its a ground. there is no power flowing on it under normal operation

answer is no to all 3 questions. The neutral is already bonded to the frame. you dont need a second bond

as far as your question about the ground feeding back to the main, there is no such thing. a ground wire has nothing flowing on it under normal operation and electricity returns to its source (in your case the generator), so there would be nothing flowing back to the main box. that is electrically impossible
