Damnit, I want a magic scrap yard like that in town!
Lol, ya I am lucky to be friends with the owner.
I help him out at the yard and don't get paid so it works out good if I like something to comes in.
When weather is nice I have to go everyday as you never that will show up
It is for sure a throwaway world. Most people have no knowledge of old things and most have no repair skills.

Indeed, a few rears ago I found a complete Baldor package in good condition at the scrap yard. included was a stand like yours and a 5 HP grinder. I did not buy it but i found out later someone did. At least it wasn’t lost.

There has been a new one on my local FB marketplace for some time at $300 Canadian with no takers.
If i could find a use for it i would have picked it up but alas i have no use for it.
