Another grinding question...

So, the garage is finally clear and I've decided to rent a grinder to get the surface prepped right and smooth out a few uneven areas. The floor is in decent shape, four years old, ~500 sq. ft. with no prior coatings. I will also etch a few impressions the grinder will miss so that the filling material bonds.

Sunbelt has the standard dual-disc EDCO electric. I guess my question comes down to grinding heads. I have to buy the 'stones' but they didn't seem too knowledgeable about what is best for this project. I keep hearing diamond grinding on this forum but they said they don't have diamond.

Looking at the EDCO site I assume they're selling me the "Grinding Stones". Do I need to get the Dyma-Serts or some other diamond option from another place?

Please advise.

Since the floor has no coating, the stones are fine. The Dyma-Serts will work also and are 5 times faster than the stones. Get the vacuum also.

Thanks for the advice. I was able to get the dyma-serts instead as I don't want to be in the garage all day. Will get the vacuum too.

One more question... how soon should I plan to epoxy after grinding? Should I power wash after grinding (and allow plenty of drying time) to get the dust off?
