So I've been reading this forum for a few years and finally decided on which type of flooring I was going with. I chose Race Deck and I have to say it is a wonderfully designed product. The fit and finish are well thought out. I did the majority of my 532 square foot garage in just 2.5 hours. Cutting the edge pieces took another 2-3 hours. I used a circular saw and it worked out just fine. I went with a solid alloy color and think it turned out well.

I've been considering one color, and must say, yours has me convinced it will look good in my new build.

Nice! I am so close to doing this, is there a trim piece for the walls or do you just leave a 1/4" or so for movement?

Some people install a cove base that is slightly higher than the flooring.

I left a about a half inch gap and ended up painting the concrete base the same color as the floor and then painted the floor about an inch in. You cant really see the gap this way. I was going to do trim but it really isn't noticeable.

And here is one more pic with the cars inside. It really looks like a showroom now.

Hi, Race Deck owner here (for 7 years). You can't notice it now but when the gunk and dirt start to build up you will.

Nice looking floor! I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a RaceDeck floor myself. Mine will be 630 SF of Free-Flow.

I'm always stuck between FreeFlow and solid on my next house/build.

I have FreeFlow and love the pattern it gives...but sometimes a solid surface just looks simple and clean...and it's a lot easier to clean up stuck-on dirt/grime.
