There are people out there that think they can't buy some stuff such as snap on products because they are not in the trade. They will pay stupid prices as they have no idea what the real cost is. Most of us are sensible to check companys web sites before we bid on stuff as we know we can just buy from there, some people don't realise they can.
The really worrying thing is what are stupid people doing with tools

My only thought was even though the picture didn't show it, maybe it was one marked USA and a collector wanted it.

That seller offers worldwide shipping stated in the ad. That helps.

I saw that and the T72 that went for 81.50. I didn't think about the whole international shipping scenario.

The guy is a pretty big time seller, over 10,000 feedback and only ONE negative.

You pay extra for foreign shipping, so it must be a weak dollar/strong foreign currency scenario.

101$ is now equal to 74€, that's quite pricey for a 3/8 ratchet, I think we should add this factor;
"no snap-on dealer in my country I have to cope with the few us sellers that ship abroad".

I bought one of those for $38 or so a few weeks ago, no body else bid on that particular ratchet. There were other F80s for sale at the time for more money and multiple bidders. The only reason that I could see was that the seller disclosed that the ratchet had scratches and everbody wants a perfect ratchet. The funny thing is, you had to use a magnifying glass to see any scratches.
