I see we have several members from Tennessee here. I'm from Middle Tennessee, South of Franklin, not far from Nashville.
Been piddling with projects and slowly collecting tools since about 1970. Currently I am refinishing several vises I have. For some reason the Columbians seem to follow me home. I have four of them, two others (probably Chicom), two clamp ons and a drill press vise. The Columbians get the refinishing treatment, but not the others.
I probably have too many vises as I only have four workbenches. Guess I will have to build another workbench or two. My wife says no more workbenches, but she understands each vise needs a home.
Fascinating site here. Been following it for 6 months or so and decided to finally join a few weeks ago.
