Another - help me ID my new Vise

sadly the tag was broken off that would have answered all my questions...

this beast is "large" and atleast 60lbs.. no other markings.. stamp or dates that I can locate... any ideas?

i agree it's an import from some part of Asia (Taiwan or China or Japan), but it looks like if you treat it right it should work well. just don't pay too much for them because i think i remember seeing brand new ones that are similar for less than $50.
