Still working on my 24x36 shop. As per my last thread i got a bunch of these foam durovent vents. I got the dark ones for the sofet ends amd the white ones to run up to the peak. The two dont evenly match up but the entire roof will be covered with insulation. Is this mismatch a problem? The lighter ones are much cheaper and i need x4 times as many. Not sure how to post images from imgur on mobil so here is a link to explain wtf im talking about. Any imput is appreciated.

The mismatch isn't a problem, as long as the continuous airspace is maintained. I would put the white one over the black one, otherwise you'd have some air leaking directly into the insulation.

I don't see a problem with functionality there. I like crazyjake's idea of overlapping them a little, but I think I'd overlap them so that the one that's higher up the roof was on top of the lower one. In your picture, that would mean overlapping the lighter one on top of the darker one so that it's between the roof deck and the darker one. That way, if a roof leak occurs, the moisture is less likely to drip down into your insulation.

I think the ventilation will be fine. I would lap them with the white under the gray in case of condensation. You could also plug the big gaps with insulation and maybe tape it to keep the air movement down as mentioned by Crazyjake.
