So being I’ve got a lot to do in the garage, I decided to screw it and buy some r-19 paper-faced insulations. Just grabbed 3 rolls to see how far it’s get me. Stapled it up.
I have no venting, (soffit venting, but it’s blocked off) just planning to leave it exposed so hopefully I have no moisture problems.
The long-term idea is to closed-cell spray foam, but that’s $3000. This is less than $500.
Opinions? Is it worth doing the whole thing if it’s only gonna be there 1-3 years? Anyone done this and experienced issues?
